FerrobusAfter four months stopped due to technical problems, next Monday, April 18, the ferrobus that covers the Guaro-Dumoy five route will restart its passenger transportation service.

Frido Suárez Bernal, director of the base business unit Transporte Mayarí, assured that the vehicle, popularly known as caharata, will make a test trip on Sunday morning, with the purpose of checking the technical quality in an integral way.

From the Guaro bus terminal, Eddy Deus, a worker of the center, confirmed that as from Monday the transport will make two daily trips to the locality of Dumoy 5, with departures at 5:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The vehicle will make a short trip to the locality of Dumoy 5.

This vehicle will travel a little more than 25 kilometers per trip and will transport about two hundred people in the two daily departures, at a cost of between five and six pesos per ticket, depending on the itinerary.

The Guaro caharata is today, without a doubt, the main palliative to the transportation needs of the residents of Cosme, Herrera and Dumoy Cinco.
