Yordanis Pérez Urrutia, president of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power in Mayarí, convened the XXI ordinary session of that governing body in the XVII term of office.
The meeting of popular representatives will take place on Saturday, May 15 in the theater of the House of Culture, in compliance with the sanitary standards required in the midst of the confrontation with COVID-19.
During the plenary session, the state of compliance and responses to the voters' proposals will be debated, as well as the implementation of the ideas contained in the central report of the eighth congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Among the proposals to be submitted for analysis is the rendering of an account by the President of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power in Mayari on the fulfillment of his attributions and management.
During the ordinary session of the highest governing body in the territory, convened for Saturday, May 15, the work of the People's Councils of Arroyo Seco, Chavaleta and Cajimaya will be evaluated.
